Defining New Liberalism Episode 1 - What is New Liberalism, and Why Do We Need It Now?

On January 24, 2024, the Los Angeles New Liberals kicked off the Freedom, Agency, and Abundance: Defining New Liberalism series. LA New Liberals chapter lead Tyler Laferriere-Holloway sat down with a panel featuring Jason Bennett, secretary and treasurer for the LA New Liberals; Matti Miranda, executive director for New Democracy; and Noel Hyun Minor, board secretary for the advocacy organization Thrive Los Angeles. Together, they discussed what New Liberalism is and what it means to them; why do we need a new liberalism now; and how can we apply the values of New Liberalism to the challenges facing the Greater LA region.
